Swarf treatment plants are modular system designed for crushing, spinning and storage of metal chips. Additionally, small compact systems are manufactured, which can be mounted on platforms that are either mobile or integrated.
The shredder is designed to shred chips, significantly reducing their volume. It is a high-performance device with a separation unit to remove non-metallic objects from the chips. The quickly wearing parts are reinforced with high-resistance materials.
Spinning chips in a centrifuge allows separating cooling fluid from short metal chips. In some cases, up to 99 percent of the oils are separated this way.
Briquetting presses were developed for compacting metal chips. Aluminium, steel, copper, brass, zinc, bronze, titanium, magnesium and cast iron can be briquetted. Briquettes have a higher density than chips and can be directly loaded into melting furnaces.
