Explosion isolation flap valves NOVEx

Ipcentras / Explosion isolation flap valves NOVEx

Explosion isolation flap valves NOVEx prevent the propagation of fire by stopping the spread of flames in the air ducts, thus safeguarding the remaining equipment inside the factory.

It is a normally open valve that reduces the pressure surge entering the system.

In the event of an explosion, the expansion of gases occurs in the direction of the explosion. This causes excess pressure to close the valve. In this way, a barrier is created, isolating and protecting the equipment remaining in the path of the explosion.

Technical characteristics of explosion isolation valves

The valve body is made of carbon steel or stainless steel.

Possible valve sizes: DN71, DN100, DN200, DN300, DN400, DN500, DN600, DN710, DN800, DN1000.

They are suitable for flammable organic and metallic dust with Kst440 (45o cone) or Kst300 (60o cone).

The maximum dust concentration in the channel is < 500 g/m3

Explosion isolation valves can be equipped with a damper position sensor and a dust layer sensor.

Upon request, an automatic cleaning system can be installed for the buyer.
