Static auger compactors type SP/SPN from German company PRESTO are used for compacting waste or recyclable materials into connected receiver containers. Conical auger shaft tapers towards the receiver container, the larger diameter provides the reliable pre-crushing action of the auger, the smaller diameter provides maximum pressure at the auger face. The overload detection and auto reverse for overload protection eliminates any possible material jam. Two models of compactors are produced: SP and SPN.
Infeed opening: length x width - 1200 x 1380 mm and 1225 x 1380 mm.
Auger rotation speed - 14 min-1 and 15 min-1.
Nominal torque - 7434 Nm and 7200 Nm.
Electric motor power - 11 kW and 15 kW.
The weight of the static auger compactors is respectively 1800 kg and 2200 kg.
Auger extends into the opening of container preventing back expansion of material.
Automatic lubrication system reduces maintenance requirements.
SPN type auger compactors are designed for crushing wooden pallets and compacting them into containers.
