Cogeneration power plants are designed and built according to specific consumer needs. This is very important because each user has their own heating and electricity requirements, fuel types and quantities, installation possibilities, and environmental requirements. KARA designs cogeneration plants for any type of biomass, such as wood waste and sawdust from sawmills, MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) dust from furniture production companies, or pruned wood from forests and parks – with moisture content of up to 55%.

Technical specifications

Minimum electrical power output: 300 kW, maximum: 1000 kW.

Minimum thermal power output: 2700 kW, maximum: 10000 kW.

Maximum saturated steam pressure: 18 bar.

Maximum saturated steam temperature: 210.°C

Using superheated steam, the temperature can reach up to 400°C
