UAB IPCENTRAS has been supplying wood and paper waste extraction and spark extinguishing systems to our country's wood processing companies, printing houses, and paper/cardboard packaging manufacturers for 25 years.
Spark extinguishing heads consists of a ball valve, an electromagnetic valve, a filter with a dirt trap and one or two nozzles. Water is most commonly used for extinguishing sparks in the systems (in separate cases argon gas can also be used). Since the working pressure of water is 6.5 - 9.0 bar, an additional water pressure boosting system is almost always required, which in turn can have various power levels.
Technical specifications
Spark extinguishing system head SP1-D designed for pipes up to 400 mm in diameter.
In common applications, a double SP2-D head is used for diameters ranging from 400 mm to 800 mm.
The response time of the inclination (reaction) of the heads is 0.3 seconds.
Both SP1-D and SP2-D can be supplied and used in potentially explosive environments (ATEX certified).
Spark extinguishing heads - advantages
Both types of extinguisher heads are installed in equal 40 mm diameter holes.
With a help of self-regulating heating cable extinguishing equipment can be installed outdoors.
When assembling the extinguishing heads outdoors, special insulation boxes are also used.
