UAB IPCENTRAS has been supplying wood and paper waste extraction and spark extinguishing systems to our country's wood processing companies, printing houses, and paper/cardboard packaging manufacturers for 25 years.
Spark extinguishing systems are designed to protect filtration systems, individual industrial equipment or waste collection bins (containers, silos) from fires and explosions. Sparks are most commonly generated due to malfunctions in the equipment (such as a broken cutting tool or grinding belt) or the presence of foreign objects in transported materials. The entry of sparks into pneumatic transport systems and mechanical equipment used for transporting flammable substances often leads to fires and explosions. The consequences of an explosion include damage or complete destruction of company assets as well as endangering the lives of employees. Properly designed and installed spark extinguishing systems help to prevent all of these potential hazards.
Technical specifications
The minimum distance in pipe between a spark detector and the extinguishing equipment is the air velocity in m/s multiplied by 0.3 s (activation time).
A minimum water flow pressure of at least 5 bar must be present at extinguisher.
Built-in emergency power supply (batteries) for an operating time of 4 hours.
Up to 2500 events can be stored in log memory and are shown as plain text.
Advantages of spark extinguishing system
The system can be equipped with spark, temperature, smoke and fire detectors.
With a help of self-regulating heating cable extinguishing equipment can be installed outdoors.
A signal transmission module can send alarm or fault messages to 8 receivers.
