Disc sorting screens ZSS were designed for sorting of mixed commercial waste, demolition waste, wood chips, plastic chips and fuel derived from waste (RDF) by size. The solid construction with pedestral bearings made of steel, the use of Hardox in the work zone and easily accessible disc shafts. Increasing the minimum diameter of the disc shaft prevents wrapping of films, tapes, etc. around the shaft. As a result there is excellent self-cleaning. The surface efficiency of the disc sorting screen is significantly higher compared to a drum screen.
Minimum working width of the sorting screen: 600 mm.
Maximum working width of the sorting screen: 2000 mm.
Minimum length of the sorting screen: 1000 mm (with a width of 600 mm).
Maximum length of the sorting screen: 9500 mm (with a width of 2000 mm).
The arrangement of discs in the screen is individually designed according to the customer's needs.
The disc screen can be equipped with a frequency converter to set variable speeds.
Can be equipped with a cover and technical maintenance doors.
